Statement of Purpose.

Statement of Purpose.

Our Statement of Purpose describes the benefits that will be enjoyed by the service user placed with us. It also outlines the care we provide and how we are organised to provide that care. It includes an overview of the facilities, services, and practices we adopt to make sure that we continuously deliver effective services for the benefit of the adults placed with us.

Ethos of Care.

Ethos of Care.

Our ethos encompasses a holistic approach to the care we provide.  This includes the provision of a physically safe and comfortable place to live in and to safeguard and promote the welfare of each service user.

It is our sincere expectation, commitment, and duty to ensure that all service users who come to live in our supported living accommodation find it a positive, safe, and rewarding period of growth and development. We aim to provide a secure base, a nurturing home that can make a ‘difference’ to enable service users feel safe and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

At Yeshua Healthcare, we have the welfare of each individual at the core of our services, with a commitment to providing flexible, innovative and continuously improving care and support. We provide both Supported Living Accommodation and care services to our service users. We work collaboratively in partnership with each service user, customer, commissioner, hospital, healthcare professional and other stakeholders.

The aims and objectives of our service have been developed with the concept of wellbeing and the principles and values set out in the NHS Constitution and the Care Act 2014 in mind, with the aim of encouraging, enabling and supporting individuals to:

  • remain as independent as possible for as long as possible in their own home;
  • manage their own physical and mental health and wellbeing;
  • manage their own finances and household budget;
  • exercise choice and control over their own life;
  • have personal dignity and respect;
  • be free from discrimination and harassment; and
  • make a positive contribution to and be included in their local community.

Each individual is allowed to do things for themselves such as accessing the community, engaging with peer support, being part of wider social networks, participating in user-led organisations, seeking education or employment and learning travel skills. The level of support offered to each individual is appropriate to their needs.

Our aim is to promote independence, avoid dependency and increase resilience. The services that we deliver provide an environment that is positive, empowering and which validates the strengths of each service user.

We firmly believe in supporting service users to remain living comfortably in our Supported Living Accommodation, retaining their independence, and ultimately living a better-quality life. Our complex care packages are available to individuals on an hourly, live-in care or 24 hours, care basis and we are fully flexible to our service user’s requirements.

At present, we often work closely with other health professionals, as well as CCGs, Social Workers, Dementia/ Alzheimer’s society, Occupational therapist, GP’s, District nurses, Tissue Viability nurses, Plastic surgery team and Chronic condition specialists.

What is TDDI?

What is TDDI?

TDDI refers to the Treatment of Disease Disorder or Injury. Yeshua Healthcare is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the provision of Personal Care and TDDI. Very few UK home care providers are registered for TDDI. This complex and nursing care can only be authorised by a healthcare professional by virtue of their professional qualification, one of the many aspects of our care that makes us stand out from other care providers.

With our registered manager being a nurse, she supervises and delegates nursing procedures so that our experienced care workers can look after service users with complex nursing care need in their own homes.

Our TDDI SERVICES:

  • Anaphylaxis
  • Assisted cough
  • Autism spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Dementia Care
  • Motor Neurones Care
  • Parkinson’s Care
  • Stroke Care
  • End of Life Care
  • Respiratory Care
  • Cerebral Palsy Care
  • Pressure area Care
  • Indwelling/ Supra-pubic Catheter Care/Stoma Care
  • PEG Feeding
  • Learning Disability Care
  • Spinal Cord Injury Rehab/Multiple Sclerosis
  • Brain Injury Rehab
  • Epilepsy Management
  • Mental Health and Depression
  • Bowel Management including Enemas and Manual Evacuation of faeces
  • Bladder Washouts
  • Suctioning

We also care for service users with multiple chronic conditions, such as diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome and heart disease. Providing complex care services helps us to care for them without diminishing their quality of life.

We encourage and support individuals to participate and learn to be independent in all aspects of their daily life, including household tasks, meal preparation and personal care and to take responsibility for meeting their own day to day needs.

We work together with each service user, commissioner, customer and purchaser to achieve best value for all stakeholders involved. This is done by continuously improving the services through a combination of good practice, economy, efficiency and effectiveness. Wherever possible and applicable, this is also promoted by the best use of available assistive technology and innovative working arrangements. We work with each customer, partner and individual to introduce, where possible, assistive technology systems both in the home and in the wider community, to help promote independence, reduce the need for unnecessary support and minimise risk.
